Thoroughly enjoyed our time on the island though locality more appealing to kids than to adults. St Elmos provided us with everything that we needed and was conveniently located for all our needs. Everyone enjoyed the Country Park.

A well maintained and pleasant cottage. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. My family and I were here in the Uk from Australia for a family wedding and the standard of the accommodation was like home from home. I would recommend this property to anyone who wishes for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

This is a very well presented and comfortable cottage. Close to the beach and very welcoming. We would recomend this property to families, and it is very dog friendly.

Highly recommended - very clean and tidy. This was our first Hoseasons holiday cotttage and we were extremely impressed with the high standard.

Had a great time - the holiday house was located a short walk from the beach and was near shops. Clean accommodation which was well furnished and very comfortable. Overall we had a memorable holiday experience and would recommend the cottage to others

An excellent location for the beach, shops, self-catering, quiet, traditional small seaside town. There is a lovely country park within a short drive. It would suit families with young children, couples and dogs are made welcome.

We had a fantastic weekend at St Elmo - the accommodation was fantastic and excellent value for money. The location was fantastic - we had great walks along the sea front and just a lovely chilled out time. The Company Shed sold great fresh shellfish and local produce, and the Art Cafe was great - read the papers and enjoy the local art whilst drinking great coffee and eating fabulous carrot cake. A thoroughly fantastic long weekend which we are planning to return to!

A lovely clean and well presented cottage. We found it very convenient to all the shops, and the regular local bus service to Colchester was very useful. Close to good coastal walks.
